Where to go when the library is closed

This blog has already covered some of the things you can do for fun while the library is closed.  But what if you just need a warm place to go after school?

Students from Brooks Middle School and Oak View Elementary School will be able to use the Community Center as an after-school place February 7 through March 4 while the library is closed.  This is sponsored by DuPage Township and DuCAP, with support from Brooks Middle School and Oak View Elementary School.  The Community Center is down the street from the library on Canterbury Lane, just past the post office (in the building formerly used by Living Water Community Church).

Students need a permission slip signed by a parent to attend this after school program.  Permission slips are available in the library at the Children’s Services desk and the Circulation desk.  Give the completed forms to a staff member, and they will be turned in to DuCAP.

If you have any questions, please contact the Outreach Services Manager, Marianne Thompson, at (630) 685-4231.
