Happy Birthday, Mrs. Stowe…

This year, we’re observing a lot of Civil War anniversaries.  April 12 was the 150th anniversary of the beginning of America’s civil war.  June 14 is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Harriet Beecher Stowe.  So why did President Lincoln call her “the little woman who wrote the book that made this great war”?  Take a look at one of these biographies and find out!
