Poetry to Travel the Stars and Beyond

Throughout the ages people have looked to the night sky with wonder and fascination.  The sky holds many wonders like our moon and its many phases, the stars themselves or even what might lie beyond.  The summer is a great time to gaze up at the stars and wonder what else might be out there.  Grab some bug spray and a blanket and spend an evening looking to the sky.  You might see the big dipper,  a shooting star or maybe, if you are lucky, something else traveling by in the night.  Check out these great poetry books all about space.  Perhaps they and your own stargazing will inspire you to write some of your own.

  1. Thanks for including And Then There Were Eight on your list! It was such a fun collection of poems to write, and I’m honored to be among this great company–though I don’t know this Fisher collection. On my way to check it out. I love her Do Rabbits Have Christmas!
