National Gaming Day @ your library
Read, learn, and play during National Gaming Day @ your library.  On Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12, the Fountaindale Public Library District will host special gaming events to celebrate the popularity and educational value of video and board games.

Join us for our Family Lock-in on Friday, 11/11 from 7:30 – 10:00 p.m. where we’ll have tons of games for the whole family to enjoy.  For all ages 5 & up.  Children 5th grade and under must be accompanied by at least one adult.  No adults without children.

On Saturday, we’ll have a variety of drop-in activities for families in the Children’s Services Department.  No registration is required for the following activities.

  • 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon – Preschool Play in the Storytime Room, ages 2 to 6 with an adult.
  • 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon – Wii Games for Families in Meeting Room A, all ages, preschoolers with an adult.
  • 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. – Hidden Oaks Family Storytime in the Storytime room, all ages, preschoolers with an adult.
  • 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. – Game Day Creativity Activities in the Creativity Park, all ages, preschoolers with an adult.
