Not so scary animal stories

As Halloween approaches, teachers usually request some stories about “scary” animals that aren’t so scary.  If all the copies of Stellaluna and The Very Busy Spider are checked out, though, you can still read stories about bats and spiders!  Here are a few suggestions:
