Library program: Origami Yoda

Hello origami and Star Wars enthusiasts! On Saturday Dec 7, our                 Boo! Ha-ha! club members met and we did some fun activities that we would like to share with you!  Our program was based on the book series           Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger.

Young Jedays learned how to fold origami Yodas, Darth Papers, R2D2s, Fortune Wookies and Jabba the Hutts. Then, because our bright spirits were restless and the fight against the dark forces never stops, we put our origami puppets in front of cameras and tested their special powers.  We used video cameras, Mac laptops  and iStop animation to record for future generations the fierce battle between the mighty Rebels and the everlasting Imperial forces. Please remember to sign up for our next Boo! Ha-ha! that will meet Saturday, February 4. The secret word for that meeting is: Chocolate!
