Here is a great way to encourage your kids to read! Take part in the 2014 WrestleMania® Reading Challenge. This annual program promotes the importance of reading through a digital literacy initiative. Now through March 7, 2014, students will have the opportunity to participate in the WrestleMania Reading Challenge at WWEReadingSuperstar.com.
Presented by WWE, the Pearson Foundation and Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), children between the ages of 4-12 can select a WWE Superstar Reading Buddy and read digital books for free to participate in the WrestleMania Reading Challenge. New this year, teens ages 13-18 can select a WWE Superstar Pen Pal, read a book from YALSA’s Teen’s Top Ten book list and write an essay about their book choice.
Prizes will include a trip to WrestleMania 30, a visit from a WWE Superstar to your school and book donations for your local school and library. For more information or to participate in the WrestleMania Reading Challenge, visit WWEReadingSuperstar.com.
