Library Nature Programs for Kids

We are offering two great programs this week for kids who love nature (especially animals!).

wolvesTomorrow (Thursday, July 17) animals from the Big Run Wolf Ranch will be visiting the Central Park Pavilion behind the Annerino Community Center from 2:00-3:30 p.m.

bee pollinatingSaturday, July 19, we will be showing a Disneynature movie all about how birds, bees, butterflies, and bats help pollinate flowers.  The movie starts at 1:30 p.m. in Meeting Room A.  Stay after the movie to plant a seed in a CD case.  It’s a great way to see what happens as a seed grows, giving you a view underground (kind of like an ant farm).

Both programs are free and for all ages and do not require registration.  Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.
