Diez Deditos (Ten Little Fingers)

Diez Deditos is a bilingual storytime presented in Spanish and English. Drop in.

Writers’ Workshop

Explore the creative writer in you during this four-week stimulating summer workshop. Must be able to attend all four sessions. Register.

Panera Milk & Cookies Storytime – (Off site)

Preschool Activity Time

The library meeting room becomes a playground filled with games, blocks, a parachute, and more. While children have fun, they actually practice social and gross motor skills. Drop in.

Visit Your Local Park with MOPs – (Indian Boundary Park)
Friday, July 7, 10 a.m. – 12:30pm
Stop by Indian Boundary Park for a fun MOPs show, ride a trackless train and scale the climbing wall. Visit the Bookmobile to check out materials and enjoy hands-on STEAM activities. Drop in.

STEAM Rollin’
Friday, July 7, 2-3 p.m.
All ages; preschoolers with an adult.

Join us for an action–packed session of STEAM–based stories, activities, and crafts. Drop in.

Babysitting Class
Saturday, July 8, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Ages 11–17
Learn the roles and responsibilities of a babysitter as well as basic first aid and CPR techniques in this three-hour course. Please bring a baby doll (no stuffed animals). Register.

Street Art Competition – Presented by the Bolingbrook Arts Council
Saturday, July 8, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
All ages.

Create a chalk masterpiece on the library’s entryway sidewalk. Photos will be placed on the library’s website for voting. The artist with the most votes in each age group will win a prize! Drop in.

Saturday Special: Sensory Storytime

Ages 2–6 with an adult.

Enjoy a special storytime perfect for children with sensory integration issues. Drop in.

Saturday Special: Build It!
Saturday, July 8, 2-4 p.m.
Ages 2–5 for DUPLO®; grades K–5 for LEGO®.
Use DUPLO® and LEGO® blocks to build fantastic structures or whatever you want! Drop in.
