Ready, Set, Tech! Tween Summer Bootcamp – Coding
Monday, June 12, 9:30 a.m.-noon
Grades 4-6
Explore unique electronic and coding ideas in this 2.5–hour, hands–on bootcamp. We will meet in the Children’s Creativity Park and end in Studio 300. Register.

Diez Deditos (Ten Little Fingers)

We have lots of special events for preschool-aged children this week as part of the Week of the Young Child, but there are fun things for older kids, too! This is the last week for our weekly Spring Storytimes. Minecraft Club will take place on Tuesday and Thursday.  We will conclude the week with special activities and performances for El día de los niños/El día de los libros.  Join us!

Food for Fines as part of National Library Week
April 9-15
Do you owe any money for fines on your library card? Bring a donation of food to the Check-Out desk  and we will remove $2 in fines (up to $20) per account for each unexpired, non-perishable food item you donate. All food will be donated to the DuPage Township Food Pantry.
You can also return overdue or lost books the week of April 9-15 without paying fines. Returned materials must be in good condition.
Please note: Collection agency fees, billed items that are not returned and billed equipment from Studio 300 and lost eReaders do not qualify.

There will be no weekly Storytimes this week, but Minecraft Club will meet on Tuesday and Thursday.

Our special Spring Break Week Rovin’ Robots programs include video gaming, chances to try out our new robots, drawing classes, a stuffed animal sleepover, making art bots, Preschool Activity Time, and a Make-it Take-it craft program. National Bookmobile Day

Winter Reading Club Special Storytime at Hidden Oaks Nature Center
Tuesday, December 27, 11-11:30 a.m.
All ages, but preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult
Fountaindale will be visiting Hidden Oaks Nature Center to host a special nature storytime. If you are participating in our Winter Reading Club: Discover Winter Wonders, attending this program will count for the “Explore” portion of the reading log. Drop in until the limit of the room is reached. This storytime will take place at the Hidden Oaks Nature Center located at 419 Trout Farm Rd. Bolingbrook, IL 60440.
