We have lots of special events for preschool-aged children this week as part of the Week of the Young Child, but there are fun things for older kids, too! This is the last week for our weekly Spring Storytimes. Minecraft Club will take place on Tuesday and Thursday.  We will conclude the week with special activities and performances for El día de los niños/El día de los libros.  Join us!

Enjoy the delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl’s fantastical tale.
This performance, featuring local children in grades 2 through 8, is presented by Theatre-on-the-Hill at the library.

Join us and the Bolingbrook Park District for flurries and fun at the annual all-ages Winterfest celebration! Visit the Bookmobile, decorate cookies, enjoy storytimes, sing karaoke with Studio 300 and grab a snack from one of our food vendors. Head outdoors to explore other activities including snow painting, snowball slingshots and archery, take a Klondike sled ride and more!

Family Coloring Party

Join us for a fun, relaxing and creative family coloring event. Coloring isn’t just for kids! All ages can enjoy the stress-relieving benefits of coloring. Supplies will be provided. Drop in until the limit of the room is reached.
